About Us
Quality Herbs prepares, sorts, packs and exports herbs, seeds and spices from Fayoum. Our work ends at the packing line, under a system audited to ISO 22000 and HACCP.
Herbs are a craft before they are a commodity.
Quality Herbs began with a straightforward observation: Egypt produces some of the finest herbs in the world, and far too much of that quality is lost between the field and the container. A crop that was excellent at harvest gets dried too hot, stored badly, blended with three other lots and sold as a generic grade.
So we work backwards from the end. We decide what the buyer needs the herb to do (hold its colour, carry its oil, brew clean), and then build the growing and drying around that. It is slower and it costs more. It is also the only way to sell the same quality twice.
Four stages, and we are present at all of them.
Cultivation
Contracted farms, selected seed stock and agronomic supervision through the season.
Harvest & Drying
Cut at peak oil content, then shade or low-temperature dried to protect colour and aroma.
Cleaning & Grading
De-stoning, sieving and sorting to the agreed cut, purity and bulk density.
Packing & Dispatch
Lot-coded, moisture-controlled packing with documentation and a retained sample.
What We Hold To
Certified, Not Just Claimed
Audited to ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and HACCP. The certificates are published on this site, with their numbers, so you can verify them before you order.
Dried the Slow Way
Low-temperature and shade drying protects colour, essential oils and active compounds. Speed costs quality.
Cleaned and Graded
Mechanical cleaning, de-stoning and sieving to an agreed grade, not a general-purpose mix.
Documented Origin
Every lot is traceable to its farm and season, with a certificate of analysis available on request.
